TRS Consulting is supporting a national parent construction company with its search for a Project Leader to support the corporate group, and its acquisitions, with the successful implementation of an ERP system utilize internal information and data to improve business processes, lower costs, and meet the company's overall business needs.
The Project Lead will join an existing and high-energy team, committed to teamwork, collaboration, and providing high-level service to internal and external clients.The Lead is directly responsible for the design development and implementation for: project setup, budgeting, cost to complete, project purchasing and subcontract management.
This is a permanent opportunity and located in the northern metro. The ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership traits, the desire to work within a dynamic organization, is proactive, solution-oriented, and utilizes project management principles to manage day-to-day tasks.
Understand the current design and documentation
Drive the design, configuration, development, testing and implementation of all Projects processes (project setup, budgeting, cost to complete, indirect costs, subcontract managements, equipment, business side of StaffRight and T&M functionality
Work directly with Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, System Power Users and Business Leaders from the business units to ensure a solid design of our future state business processes
Work closely with business leaders to identify, maximize and capture opportunities to use information and data to improve business processes, lower costs and increase Project Owners (Supply Chain, Service, Payroll and Accounting) to ensure individually designed processes meet the company's overall business needs
Collaborate with Learning and Development to create online learning content for all Project business processes
Support the Projects Community leader in developing a strong Community that can help support and grow the overall Project business capability
Coordinate with Independent Software Vendors (ISV's): work directly with ADEACA to develop functionality and a roadmap that will meet the company's business needs
Education and Experience
4 year degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant experience
5-7 years of experience working in the accounting industry, construction experience is preferred but not required
Experience with an ERP or SAP software is desired
