TRS Consulting is partnering with a national specialty construction group in their search for a Payroll Configuration Analyst. The company is completing a software implementation project so candidates should be familiar with an accounting software system. Interested candidates must have a solid understanding of payroll requirements and regulations. Finally, the ideal candidate is excited by new challenges, is forward thinking, demonstrates strong initiative and has a commitment to team goals.
Experience with high-volume Multi-State Payroll Processing, Billing, and Licensing
Knowledgeable of state and federal payroll requirements and regulations
Experience with software implementation processes and procedures a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX desired but not required
Applicant must be detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines
Candidate should have excellent customer service, overall understanding of accounting, and exposure to management reporting systems
Applicant should have strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
A team player with excellent communication skills
Desired Education and Experience
2+ years of payroll experience
2 or 4 year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related experience
CPP a plus but not required
Expertise in working with Union Payroll or Construction-based Payroll a plus
