TRS Consulting is supporting a North Minneapolis company with its search for a Data Migration Specialist. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a company values leadership development and career growth opportunities.
The Data Migration Specialist will join an existing and high-energy team, committed to teamwork, collaboration, and providing high-level service to internal and external clients. The ideal candidate specializes in data migration with an emphasis on employee and payroll data migration during the company's large scale ERP implementation, additional projects related to the role will follow.
Partner with the Clean Data, Data Migration, and Employee Services teams to strengthen the overall data migration capability
Continually communicate and escalate data issues as they arise
Responsible for defining requirements to improve the automated data validations for the employee and payroll data
Support the Data Migration Capability by becoming proficient in other data entities within the data migration capability
Support clean data, data migration, data validation as needed
Minimum 3 years of experience in a position that demonstrates the ability to perform the responsibilities of this role, recommended Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Analytical mindset with ability to spot trends
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines
Prior experience working with employee and/or payroll data
Familiarity with any of the various enterprise systems
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX
Prior experience in the construction industry
Prior experience working with data (big data, business intelligence, etc.)
